Description:
This is an early Second model 1890 Winchester made in 1894. A good sound rifle with good solid wood with the minimum of scratches and dings. The metal has been reblued sometime in the past. Use the ZOOM feature to make your evaluation as to condition. The caliber is 22 long, which is not often encountered. The second model retained the enclosed locking lugs but had the take-down feature. The bore is oxidised through out it's length, but has strong rifling. This was made in the second year of the model 2 production.
