There is perhaps a total of one match-head’s worth holster wear on the high polish original factory bluing and absolutely no pitting. The excellent bore still shows it original rifling machining marks, the trigger its fire blue and internal parts their original straw color. The magazine is correctly not serial numbered and has the correct elongated Mauser Banner on its base plate. In his book “Mauser Pocket Pistols” Roy Pender recognized seven distinct models in the evolution of the “1910 Pattern” system. They are the Sidelatch, 1910/14, Humpback, 1914, 1914/34, 1910/34 and the 1934, each of which have variations and numerous different markings.
