"Springfield Armory Trapdoor First Model Allin (Model 1865) Two-Band Cadet Type .58 Rimfire caliber rifle.32" Round .58 Rimfire barrel with fine bore. The bands are correctly spaced and the swivel has been correctly added to the top band. The barrel, bands, butt plate and trigger guard are bright as were the originals. The lock, hammer and breech block are a faded case color gray. The stock is very good with no cracks or chips. “EM" is carved into the left-flat. The “ESA" cartouche is visible. The butt plate tang has rack number “13" stamped into it. There is a correct two-piece style sling present. The action functions correctly. The cleaning rod is present. Overall, this is a better than average cadet type First Allin rifle in the proper configuration.
