Description:
Early Waffenfabrik Bern M1929 Luger with high polish plum barrel, red grips and later, brown base magazine, made in 1935. SN: 52802. Cal. 7.65 Luger. Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and receiver lug. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on forward frame, just ahead of trigger guard. Forward frame recess marked “1.35” reflecting manufacture in January 1935. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered red hard rubber grips. Later magazine with brown plug. Condition: Near excellent original finish. Comparable condition grips though the left panel is missing a chip near bottom of grip safety. Near mirror bore. Perfect madfdfnual mechanics. One of the most desirable of the M1929 Bern Lugers with the later and more durable magazine. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
