EARLY WW2 SPRINGFIELD M1 or M-1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE DATED 11-42. Late November 1942 production serial numbered in the 1005xxx range with correct “11-42” barrel date. All original with exception of the hand guard which is a later replacement. Original matching forend and stock with correct Springfield Ordnance Col. Earl McFarland cartouche seen only on these early War Garands. Has most of the original parkerized finish with only very light use and is in perfect working order with excellent bore. Leather sling a good quality reproduction stamped “Milsco/ 1944”.
