Stunning Holland & Holland hammer gun with damascus barrels in excellent condition. Action engraving is sharp and defined. Locks are crisp and barrels are tight on face. Gun shoots well and needs nothing. The gun appears to have been converted from 16ga to 20ga. The 29" barrels are choked 1/4 and 3/4 (IC & IM) with recent Nitro Proof. LOP is 14 1/4 to horn buttplate and gorgeous stock has modern dimensions with slight cast off. Gun was refinished in England and shot very little since. Comes in oak and leather case with reproduction trade label. Include Galco leather handguard. Case interior in excellent condition, exterior needs new straps. Gun dates to 1878 per Holland's records.
This gun was chamber sleeved, refinished and re proofed by Cyril S Adams in England.
