Here is a beautiful and very unusual James Wilkinson & Son back action side lever 12ga with lined 30" damascus barrels. Barrels are tight on face, choked .010 and .020 (IC/M) with 2 3/4" chambers. Linked strikers and rebounding hammers. Hodges patent triple bite locking system. Appears to have been restocked at some point and features modern dimensions with LOP 14 5/8" and no cast. Features Winkinson's patent lever fore end. While not affecting functioning, fore end is missing small piece of wood as shown in pictures. Gun is otherwise in good condition and needs nothing to be enjoyed. Gun comes in a well worn period case with amateur repairs and reproduction trade label. This is a wonderful quirky piece of history that can be enjoyed with modern cartridges for clays or hunting.
