Take a look at this unusual W. Burgess 12ga Semi Hammerless Side Lock Non Ejector. This gun features 30" Damascus Barrels with 2 3/4" chambers and Nitro Proof. Barrel is choked Mod and Improved Mod (.021 / .024). Barrels feature an attractive faded patina but would benefit from a rebrowning. Bores are shinny and in excellent condition. LOP 14 1/2" with very slight cast off and could be enjoyed by a left or right handed shooter. Weight is 6lb 9oz. Gun comes in an antique fitted canvas case.
This is built on a Bentley patent semi hammerless action and is featured in the August 1986 Shooting Times publication included. The article states these actions were built by Bently up until 1883 making this gun an antique. Gun is in overall good condition with barrels tight on the face and smooth cocking hammers. Ready for a day afield of clays or bird shooting.
