Description:
Beautiful, as new Mauser Model 1902 Cartridge Counter commemorative, cased with all accessories. SN: #C035von250. Cal. 9mmP.

Production of this commemorative was limited to just 250 pistols in 1982. As true to the original Cartridge Counter, this pistol has a 4.0” fat barrel, dished toggles (no toggle lock), and a left grip recessed and marked to act as a cartridge counter when fitted with the correct magazine. The middle toggle link is marked with a gold inlaid and intertwined “DWM”. On the left frame is the designation “Mod. 1902/Cartridge Counter”. The 9mm Parabellum designation is on top of the barrel while the serial number is repeated on the right side of the receiver and frame. Major components are salt blued; the take down lever, trigger, safety, ejector, and magazine release are strawed; the grips screws are fire blued. Wood grips are checkered as per the original M1902 Cartridge Counter. Magazine bodies are chromed and fitted with special followers that are longer than usual and red dotted to indicate cartridge capacity upon insertion. Wood bases are each marked “Cal. 9 m/m” and retained with two pins. Included in the case is a cleaning rod, takedown tool, registration manual, instruction booklet, test target, and certificate of authenticity. Attache case is made of burgundy leather with two brass clasps, red felt lined, and comes complete with a pair of locking keys.

Condition: The pistol is “as new” with no discernible wear. Not even a toggle-mark on the rear of the frame. Crisp grips have no oil stains. Bright magazine bodies show little wear. Crisp case with minor external scuffs. Just a fantastic and virtually new Mauser M1902 Cartridge Counter that is cased with all paperwork and accessories. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! Made in 1982, not C&R eligible. $4995.00
