Description:
Winchester Model 12 Pre War Pigeon Grade 30" Trap with Full Milled 2 Pin Factory Vent Duckbill Rib. Serial # 854xxx ( 1940 Vintage ). Winchester Style 12-2 Factory Engraved. In the 60's, a Brown Hydra-Coil set of stocks were added to this gun. They are like new and fully operational with no hangups or sticky points. Work very smoothly. Choked Full with a Great Bore and lots of Choke. Metal finish is all of Original mid 90% with a mark on top of the Duckbill and some little scratches on the receiver from use. One so-called flaw would be the small initial or name banner on the left side above the dog has been professionally stipled out. Doesn't go beyond the outside lines of the banner onto the receiver. One who wanted, could have a good engraver clean this up and have their name engraved in the same banner or leave it be.( See photos ). A great Pre War Model 12 with a lot of gusto and nicely finished. Thanks for looking. Shipping has been increased to $45.00 because of the drastic rise in carriers rates. Sorry, blame them.
