WALTHER P-38, AC/44, 9MM, SER 7073 i. A SCARCE VARIANT and SUPER CONDITION.
The gun retains about 98-99% of the original factory finish. The little loss there is, is from sharp edge silvering due to holster wear. There are no rust spots, scratches, or rub marks anywhere. The front grip strap has not grayed. All parts match. In 1944, Walther ran out of barrel assemblies a contract was given to Boehmische Waffenfrabrique, Prag (fnh) for barrel groups to be sent to them. It is properly stamped "fnh" and Eagle/WaA76. The slide and the frame have the correct Walther Eagle/Swastika and Eagle/359. The brown grips and grip screw are perfect, without a blemish. The slide rails, bolt face and feed ramp show little if any use. The bore is as pristine as the rest of the gun. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. It comes with one correct magazine stamped Eagle/7XX and "jhv" on the left side and "P-38" on the right. For the most critical investor/collector it can't get better than this.
