Description:
Browning Superposed Grade1 28 gauge. This is a round knob, long tang non salt wood field gun, manufactured in 1964. It has 28" barrels choked Mod/Full, and standard Browning stock dimensions. 14 1/4 LOP, 1 3/8 DAC, 2 1/8 DAH. Weight is 6lb 11 oz. The gun is in 98% original unaltered condition, and shows little evidence of use. Lock-up is like new with the lever tight, and well right of center. The bluing is nearly perfect with no scratches, rust, or edge wear, and the bores and chambers are bright and shiny. The wood is also excellent with just a very few light handling marks. The only noticeable one being on the forend, just below the Made in Belgium script on the left side of the barrels (Pictured). The gun comes complete with the correct Hartmann case, also in excellent condition. Overall a very minty little Browning.
