Description:
Early first year production serial number. Features 6-1/2 inch barrel. New York City address. Grips show a few light dings but basically very fine with a considerable amount of original varnish. Barrel retains a fair amount of nickel plating. Beautiful scroll engraving. A good amount on backstrap and trigger guard as well and showing some wear. Frame is mostly a grey color. Crisp tight action. Case is English Oak and has the initials “E G A” on a brass plaque. Well proportioned with Colt flask and compartments for accoutrements. Case is fitted with a trade label from the Wilkinson Sword Company inside the lid. All percussion nipples are in fine shape as well as the cylinder pins being intact. A good looking gun.
