This little beauty is stunning, a Remington Arms Co. Over/Under Derringer, .41 Rimfire caliber, 3 inch barrels and a beautiful shine with pearl grips that feature vibrant color. Remington manufactured these derringers from 1866 to 1935, this pistol has the batch marking of 217.
The .41 Rimfire is in the family of firearm cartridges which were chambered in derringers and revolvers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The .41 rimfire family was first introduced by the National Arms Company in 1863 as the .41 Short, chambered in their derringer.
This piece has good hinges, very nice metal condition and did we mention those flashy grips? Slight speckle in finish due to age, please see photos for further condition.
This pistol is a beauty and would be a valued addition to any collection.
