Parker Bros.VHE 16 gauge built on the lightweight "O" frame.If you are looking for a light,fast handling upland bird gun,this is it.Built in 1907,according to the factory letter,this gun was ordered with 26" Vulcan steel barrels choked cylinder and modified.The bores are mint and free of any rust,dents,or pitting.The receiver retains traces of the original case colors and the barrels retain 90% of the original blue finish.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The gun weighs 6-2 and balances on the hinge pin as it should.The ejectors are timed and work perfectly.This is a perfect gun for grouse or woodcock or quail.The cylinder bore barrel throws a beautiful even pattern.It broke targets for me at 35 yards shooting sporting clays.A classic Parker bird gun from the golden age of doubles.C&R eligible.
