Stunning Remington Arms Co. Model 95 Type II Over/Under derringerp; this little beauty features a 3 inch barrels, smooth, gorgeous grips (bone or ivory?), good hinges and metal finish is in good condition, chambered in .41 Rimfire caliber.
The .41 Rimfire is in the family of firearm cartridges which were chambered in derringers and revolvers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The .41 Rimfire family was first introduced by the National Arms Company in 1863 as the .41 Short, chambered in their derringer.
Also referred to as a Model Type II or Model 95, this model of iconic pistol has quite the history in the Wild West as the gamblers' " Double Ace" and has been featured in many Hollywood movies and TV as well.
Remington manufactured the derringers from 1866 to 1935; the batch marking on this pistol is 3613A (on butt and underbarrel).
This gun is is great condition and has a very classic look, beautiful piece to add to any collection. For further condition details, please see photos.
