Here is the "Rifleman's Rifle" in one of the most desirable calibers, .257 Roberts. Bore is perfect. Serial # 150xxx indicates a 1951 manufacture date. The rifle is now 69 years old and sure doesn't look it. There are some minor marks on the stock but they are miniscule. Bluing is close to 98%. Comes with a sling and a scope on which I could not find a maker's name. The scope has a duplex reticule and is sharp and clear. I'm betting it's not a Zeiss but it seems functional. Pacmyer pad. This is a very nice Model 70 in a top deer and antelope caliber. $60 shipping and insurance via priority mail. C&R is fine for this rifle and layaway is available.
