It will handle all your shooting needs, including: Sporting Clays, Pheasants, & all Upland Game, plus Waterfowl. Although the gun appears to be original, I believe it has, at some point, received a high quality re-furbishing in. England. (perhaps by the Scott factory. (95 to 98 % of correct finishes remain on all metal and wood. Early type checkering shows no wear, Barrels and metal furnishings retain 98% of their correct type blueing. Case coloring is faded but strong in protected areas. Bores are "Mirror" bright. The gun locks-up tight as new. No movement of barrels with or without the forend attached. Dimensions of the gun are similar to modern shotguns. This gun was made in the mid-twenties. Scott made very few hammerguns after 1900. I imported this gun from Holt's in the UK. This is the first time this gun has been on offer in the USA. Importing a gun from England is costly and time consuming. Who ever buys this gun is saving all that time and money. Specifications: 12 gauge, with original 2&3/4 inch chambers. Nitro proofed at time of manufacture, and re-proved in England during modern times.
