Description:
This beautiful, light weight hammergun is perfect for the vintage shooter. It will handle all your shooting needs, including: Sporting Clays, Pheasants, & all Upland Game, plus Waterfowl.
Although the gun appears to be original, I believe it has, at some point, received a high quality re-furbishing in. England. (perhaps by the Scott factory. (95 to 98 % of correct finishes remain on all metal and wood.
Early type checkering shows no wear, Barrels and metal furnishings retain 98% of their correct type blueing.
Case coloring is faded but strong in protected areas.
Bores are "Mirror" bright.
The gun locks-up tight as new. No movement of barrels with or without the forend attached.
Dimensions of the gun are similar to modern shotguns.
This gun was made in the mid-twenties. Scott made very few hammerguns after 1900.
I imported this gun from Holt's in the UK. This is the first time this gun has been on offer in the USA.
Importing a gun from England is costly and time consuming. Who ever buys this gun is saving all that time and money.

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I believe this gun to be the best "Buy" of any British hammergun currently listed on any gun site.
