Description:
This is a rare Party Leader Walther PPK with black grip, in excellent condition. We observe far less of the black grips than the brown, but research on the black grips is also less extensive and there is some debate over whether they were ever made by the Walther factory. This particular example was made in 1943. The finish rates at about 95% with high edge wear on both sides of the slide, near the muzzle. There's also some thinning and browning on the front strap. The grip has the proper metal insert and no cracks or defects. Just a little bit of smoothing. Mint bore.
