New items added daily! Description: This is a rare Simson Luger rig from the late 1920s, one of only ~12,000 produced. This is a scarce sub-variation as well with Eagle/46 proof on receiver, one of only 6 known with this marking. The pistol is all matching and original with 85-90% blue remaining, and about 80% of the original straw. The pistol has standard high edge wear but an excellent profile overall, with most of the finish loss on the straps. All small parts are Simson proofed, including the grip screws. The original grips are present and matching numbered to the pistol with full four digit serial. Both magazines are rare and original Simson made examples but both are mismatched to the pistol. Rig also includes a very rare Simson marked tool, all correct and original. It's completed by an excellent 1926 dated holster with C. Pose A.G. maker mark. It's also marked 'Sch. Pl. K. 27' on the front, which we believe is a Reichswehr unit marking from Artillerie-Schiebplatz, weapon 27.
