Arisaka Type 99 Series 2, made in Nagoya Arsenal betwee 1939 - 1945. Not a last-ditch, but a beautiful, sturdy piece with a Kokura hooked-quillon bayonet. There is some damage to the stock and signs of wear you would expect from a weapon with its history. I have not fired it and I have not had it inspected by a gunsmith but I don't see any anomalies in the barrel.
