I'm listing a Winchester 1873 , caliber 44/40. She's I guess the 2 nd model, serial number 84734, Mfg'd in 1882 ,has a 24" round barrel and a rifle ladder sight , was on the rifle when I bought it years back and that's all I know about it, I've shot it , everything works, I'm planning on shooting it tomorrow so if anything out of the ordinary I'll re write this piece. The original dust cover is on the rifle and seems to slide and close up pretty decent. The rifle has a nice aged brownish patina , along with the wood it's really pretty nice piece of history that still loads and shoots for a 138 year old rifle. I'll ship and insure it through USPS for my listed price. If you'd care to make a reasonable offer or maybe buy two like one gentleman has done more than once , I'm all ears .
