Has a cheek piece and fitted with a trap for 4 cartridges on the underside of the butt . Trapdoor is spring loaded and delicately engraved. 26 inch barrels. The weight of the entire gun is only 6 pounds 7 ounces. Bores are excellent. Original sling swivels and correct front sight. Rear sight is a 3-leaf flip up express which looks to be a more modern installation. Deeley type forearm release. Full sidelock action is delicately engraved with tight dramatic scrolls. Barrels retain about 75% original dull blue. The action has turned a silvery color and looks good. Trigger guard retains a fair amount of original blue. Set triggers work and action is tight.
DAH 2-7/8 inch. DAC 1-13/16 inch. LOP 14-1/4 inch. Barrels are on face. Case has seen a fair amount of use and has some oil staining. Also accompanying this gun is a photo of 2 silver medals for winning first place in the World Side by Side Championship for Stalking Rifle. Also included is about 50 rounds of 9.3 x 72R hand loaded cartridges. A very nice little outfit!
