Description:
This gun is a mint condition, Browning .25 Automatic Renaissance model, semi-automatic pistol in .25 ACP (6.35mm) caliber. These are commonly referred to as ‘Baby’ Brownings. The serial number is 122035. This is a first year gun, manufactured in Belgium in 1954 and shipped around November 23rd of that year. This is a striker-fired, single action, blow back pistol with a magazine capacity of six rounds. The gun is deeply and fully engraved featuring a satin grey finish, floral and vine type engraving pattern, and a gold trigger. The grip panels are elephant ivory which were likely fitted to the gun shortly after its purchase. The artwork was done later, likely in the 1990s by Sandra Brady, a long-recognized scrimshaw artist located in Monclova, Ohio. The bottom of the magazine is marked with the Fabrique Nationale (FN) logo.
