Nice, solid old rifle with a minty bore and great wood...It has been reblued, and a nice job done of it. Rifle is mechanically fine, smooth action, ready to go, just add ammo and a sling. Bolt peep is missing, Rear barrel sight looks like a Redfield. Ser# 54xx books out at 1936 (being practical, we consider this a first year rifle, since they reportedly only made FOUR 71's in 1935!)
