Description:
From the golden age, between the wars, this 1926 30E Grade Francotte was a pricey gun in its day. Imported by Von Langerke & Detmold of New York, it features 27 1/8 inch barrels that are factory bored .000 and .024 and the barrels flats are marked 0 and Choke. The barrels have sideclips. It's a bird hunters dream gun weighing 6-5 with superb balance. It's got ejectors, a factory single trigger and factory sling eye attachments. The bores and mechanics are excellent. The wood has been professionally refinished and the LOP is 14 inches over a factory buttplate. The drops are 2 x 3 1/8 for the heads up shooter. The engraving is classically beautiful and the pictures are better then my words. Check them out. I've priced the gun to sell and you will find no better value anywhere in a first quality gun. AND-I'll pay for shipping and insurance to the lower 48. What a deal! This gun once belonged to Steve Crothers, a superb East Coast trapshooter from the 1930's-60's.
