Ultra Mag., Pre-64 Model 70 Action Custom Bolt Rifle, The action made by Winchester in 1958 in either a 300 H&H or 375 H&H with their "long" action, 26" Lilja barrel without open sights, Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Model 70 floorplate and trigger guard, Leupold 3.5 - 10 x 40mm, Conetrol bases and rings, A nice custom stock with a very nice piece of English Walnut, Excellent point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Ebony one screw grip cap, Sling eyes on the stock, 13 9/16" LOP over a 1/2" pad, It will go 14 1/8" with a 1" pad installed, 8 lbs. 15 oz., Excellent internal inletting, It is glass bedded 4" up the barrel channel ahead of the recoil lug, Glass bedded recoil lug, The bore is excellent plus and remains as new, The blue at 97%, The stock is at 95%, The checkering is at 99%, I can assure you this was not the stockers first attempt at custom stocking a bolt rifle. It has nice workmanship along with the checkering being very well cut and very professionally laid out. This is an accurate rifle with this Lilja barrel; .708" with 180 grain Nosler Accubond, .894 & .980" with 180 grain Barnes TTSX, .750 & .775" with 200 grain Accubond, .710 & .996" with 200 grain Barnes LRX.
