Savage & North Figure 8 Navy Revolver. Serial Number 1 Made in 1856. This is a 1st variation gun which is rare enough on its own right as only 10 or so were made, but this is also serial number 1. It is not very often that you get an opportunity to buy a very first gun in production! This gun has a dark brown patina on the barrel and the cylinder. The brass has a dark bronzed patina. Grips are good. The left grips are only missing a small chip on the left-hand side on the backstrap. The right-hand side has wood missing along the front strap. Action works well. Very rare gun being a first model and even more desirable being serial number 1.
