*** SOLD *** Handsome Premium Grade Beretta S3 12 gauge over/under with double triggers, straight grip stock made of highly figured European walnut, Boehler Antinit Steel barrels, pressure channels on the standing breech, and full coverage engraving. Versatile gun with Briley choke tubes makes this a great travel gun for hunting, flyers, and clays. Made in 1969 this premium grade Beretta is cased in a new Beretta leather case. Weighs 7lb 6oz. *** The 28” Boehler Steel barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells and have been fitted with Briley S-26 thin wall choke tubes including two Skeet tubes, and Light Modified, Improved Modified and Light Full choke tubes. Supplied with a Briley wrench. The barrels are topped by a low hand cross-hatched ventilated rib and have selective ejectors. The lower barrel is bored 0.731” and the upper is bored 0.730”. Bluing and all metal finishes are excellent. *** The straight grip stock and slender forearm are made of highly figured European walnut. The checkering is crisp and the stock has been professionally refinished recently. There are a few handling marks including a 1” scratch in the finish only on the right side of the buttstock that has been professionally repaired. Stock dimensions are 15” including a 1” leather recoil pad by 1-3/8” by 2”. Neutral cast. *** This premium grade Beretta is a great handling, high quality example of superb Italian craftsmanship.
