Description:
*Sale Pending* Perazzi MX-8 Special Combo, like the MX-8 except the Special has a ramped rib and an adjustable trigger, circa mid-1990s, 12 bore, boxlock action with detachable trigger plate lock set, 2 barrel sets,  29 1/2" double, 33 1/2" single, gun weights with both barrel sets in same order 8 lbs. 15 oz., 9 lbs. 1 oz., both barrel sets ported, single selective and adjustable gold trigger, non-automatic safety, 14 3/4" LOP over an adjustable pneumatic recoil reducing butt, adjustable comb, pistol grip with swelled palm.  Comes with hard case, total of 10 screw-in chokes, four new extra main springs, and various tools and parts.  The gun still shows the top lever well right of center, this gun was maintained by Giacomo Sporting and we do have an invoice from Giacomo from 2007 with the gun where they installed a new locking bolt, top lever return spring, safety spring, reblued the entire gun and gave an overall tune-up.  Overall in very good condition with some finish loss and handling marks on the wood including a small chip on the bottom edge of the pistol grip, the adjustable comb looks to have been sanded at some point and refinished, there is also a 1/2" stock crack coming off the rear of the top tang that looks to have been there some time.  The crack has turned and terminated and shouldn't advance but it's an easy fix if one wishes to seal it up.  The owner loved the gun but has become too aged to shoot any longer.
