Description:
Blue steel barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, improved cylinder/improved cylinder chokes, concave matte rib with single bead sight, and standard Spanish proofs on the flats. Casehardened side lock action with bushed firing pins, dual triggers (front is articulated), and manual sliding tang safety. The receiver and locks feature full coverage floral bouquet and scroll engraving. Checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, Anson style latch, and added solid rubber recoil pad. With custom hardwood take down case with brass trim and brass inscription plate marked "DSC". Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 5/16 inches; drop at heel 2 7/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Excellent with 99% original blue finish, light handling marks, and a few scattered surface nicks. The receiver and locks have 95% original case colors with some light edge wear, and crisp engraving. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and a few small scattered dings. The left choke has been opened up to improved cylinder and the choke marking adjusted accordingly Mechanically excellent. Case is good with scuffs and dents on the exterior and patina/discoloration on the trim and fittings. 20 Gauge
