Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a beautiful all-original Walther Olympia "Hunter" Model made during the Nazi period in pre-WW2 Germany. These Olympia's were the absolute top-of-the-line .22 semi-automatic pistol made in Germany at that time. The Walther Olympia Hunter Model Pistol was made with a shorter 3.9" barrel and was not provided with barrel weights. Trigger pull was 3lb while the overall weight was 1.6lb. Magazine capacity was 10 rounds. This pistol features a windage adjustable rear notch sight. The right side of the barrel is marked with double "Eagle/N" commercial proofs and the left side of the slide features the Walther banner, two-line Zella Mehlis address and patent roll-stamp and "OLYMPIA-PISTOLE". The serial number "8206" is found on the left side of the frame spur, slide, grips, and magazine. The right side frame slide is marked "KNEBL-BUDAPEST" indicating this pistol was originally commercially sold to Budapest, Hungary. The bore is bright with strong rifling and the pistol functions perfectly. It is missing the front sight blade but still retains the original set screw NOTE: The front sight has been replaced and is now intact. Please see the first and last few pictures to see front sight. The wooden grips are in very good condition with only a few minor handling marks and featuring nice sharp checkering. Overall this is a very classy and well-made vintage target pistol which still rivals new production models in the accuracy department.
