Description:
Manufactured in 1928 with standard markings including the grade "A" type floral engraving on the receiver and barrel at the breech. Fitted with pinned beaded blade front, two-leaf rear, and Lyman receiver mounted peep sights. Mounted with a nicely figured checkered schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and a ribbed steel butt plate. The included Roe Clark letter confirms the current configuration as well as shipment to James C. Lindsay Hardware Co. (located in Pittsburgh and Little Rock) on 16 January 1928. Very fine, retains around 75% original blue finish. The wood is very fine with a few scattered minor dings and scratches with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. .250-3000 Savage

Metal Condition: Very good with minor thinning blue and a few thin scratches. The case color lever has had the varnish reapplied. The case color is quite strong.
Wood Condition: Very good with dings and dents and thinning finish.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
Barrels: 24 inch round blue with sights.
Triggers: Single blue.
Stock Dimensions:
12 3/4 inch LOP.
Fore End: Nicely figured walnut with a checkered schnabel tip forearm.
Butt Pad: Blue steel.
