Description:
This is a spectacular all-original example of the very scarce Colt Model .357 Magnum revolver. This low-production double-action revolver was only manufactured between 1953 and 1961 (this gun was manufactured in 1959) , with a total number of about 15,000 guns made before being absorbed into the Trooper line of revolvers. The .357 Magnum model was offered with either a 4" or 6" inch barrel, a gloss-blue or nickel finish, a standard or wide hammer, and standard or target grips. This heavy duty double-action/single action revolver was chambered in .357 Magnum only and featured a 6-shot fluted cylinder and an Accro adjustable rear target sight with a ramped front blade. These vintage Colt's were extremely well-made guns with excellent fit and finish and quickly earned a reputation with shooters for being very accurate and reliable guns.
