Here is a Gebruder Merkel Model 201E in 12 gauge made in 1969. Traditional deep cut German game scene and scroll engraving. First quality designation (stamped on rear barrel lump). Very light use with a minor marks to stock. Tight like a new gun. Other features are listed below.
*Solid rib, 28" Barrels choked full and extra full with 3" chambers - mirror bores measuring .725
*Ejectors - highly polished and well timed
* Well figured stock with check piece and elegant shadow line. Three piece forend. Factory buttplate with engraved screws. Ebony grip cap with double engraved screws. LOP - 14 1/2", Drop at Comb 1 1/2", Drop at Heel 2 1/2"
*Double trigger with front trigger articulated
