Description:
16 inch barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. Overall this gun is in far better than average condition. The wood rates very good with a carbine style buttplate. Mechanics are crsip and tight. Good bore that would benefit from a good cleaning. Sights include 1873 marked flip up ladder rear sight and typical carbine front sight. Correct saddle ring. original dust cover. Metal is a plum/brown with good traces of blue in the protected areas. These trappers are usually just "rats" but this is a pretty nice gun. Complete with a Factory Letter.
