French cavalry musketoon Model 1816. Unique French Model 1816 cavalry musketoon with a 19¾” barrel. Metal is light gray patina. Musketoon was manufactured at the Tulle arsenal. Barrel is dated “1820”. Stock is good has pin prick holes noted to on the right-side of the butt stock. Gorgeous date stamp is present. These were issued ramrods separately. Overall a handsome looking musketoon!
