This Tang Safety M77 .280 Rem. was manufactured in 1984 and shows excellent condition, overall. Note that it's stamped ".280 Rem. or 7mm Exp. Rem.", to let prospective buyers know that .280 Remington and 7mm Express Remington are one and the same. If you'd like to own something that's just a little different, yet boasts over 60 years of solid, predictable performance, this should certainly make your short list. Side note: For those of you not yet familiar with the history of this cartridge and the series of name changes it underwent, do a quick internet search. It makes for a quick and mildly entertaining read. .280 Remington
