Description: This is a Browning 325 Grade I Over/Under Express Rifle by Deconinck Freres Warneton Belgique in 8x57 JRS. The rifle has a ramped beaded blade font and fixed express notch rear sights on a matted, raised quarter rib, left side of top barrel marked "ARMURERIE DE CONINCK FRER.ES WARNETON", underside of barrels marked "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON, PA", and standard Belgian proofs. The barrel block is marked "INVECTOR" indicating the chambers have been sleeved and new barrel tubes installed by the De Coninck firm, the barrels were then reproofed. Bright coin finished receiver with underside marked "325 GRADE I", light scroll engraving, gold washed trigger, and sliding tang safety/selector switch. Checkered walnut straight grip stock and Schnabel forearm with a Browning buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 5/16 inches; length of pull 14 inches. 8x57mm JS SOLD Chambers: Over/under with ejectors. Metal Condition: Very fine as professionally converted to double rifle configuration and refinished with 99% of the high quality blue remaining, and some light forearm marks. Wood Condition: The wood is very good with numerous small dings and scratches, some worn checkering, and a rough dent on the forearm. Bore Condition: Bright and shiny. Barrels: 23 3/4 inch blue with sights. Triggers: SST gold color trigger. Stock Dimensions: Drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; Drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 inches.
