Description:
This is a very nice Marlin model 1889 the was built in 1891. The blue is very strong and has a touch of wear and some thinning. The lever and hammer show case color. The walnut stock looks to have a cleaning and new finish added. All in all a very nice rifle. This is an Antique and can in most case be sent directly to your home. Please check State and Local laws. .38 WCF

Chambers: Lever action repeater.
Metal Condition: Retains around 80% original blue finish and strong traces of original case colors with the magazine thinning to a smooth grey patina and the balance of the casehardened parts showing mostly a silver-grey patina.
Wood Condition: Very ice with a light refinish and new finish added.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
Barrels: 24 inch blue octagon with sights.
Triggers: Single blue.
Stock Dimensions:
12 7/8 inch LOP.
Fore End: Nice straight grain walnut with a steel cap.
Butt Pad: Crescent steel.
Weight: 7 Lbs. 2 Oz.
Sights: Adjustable rear semi-buckhorn with an elevator and a Rocky mountain front.
