Description: Serial #9139, .320 RF, 3 5/8" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has freckling toward the breech. This is a handsome little revolver, marked “PERRINS & SON, WORCESTER" along the barrel, that retains 50-60% of the original bright blue finish, mostly along the barrel, as well as protected areas of the frame, which has an overall blue-gray patina on the balance. The cylinder has muted, but still fairly bright color case-hardening remaining, as does the loading gate, and there are some scattered spots of brown oxidation around the circumference. The trigger and hammer have their original armory bright finish remaining, with dark spots of freckling along the edges. The checkered walnut grip has scattered small handling marks and blemishes, with some additional flattening of the points. The action is fully functional, but the cylinder lock-up is not very firm. This is a handsome “Pocket" type Tranter, and rates fine condition overall.
