Description:
This interesting P Grade Parker shotgun serial #87654 started life in 1898 as an O frame 16ga with 28 inch barrels. I'm betting they were damacus. Somewhere along the way, it went back to Parker Brothers to have set of 20ga. Vulcan steel barrels fitted along with its own forend. Both barrels and forend are marked 2, designating a second set. The barrels are 28 inches long and bored .011 and .019, a solid improved cylinder and modified. They also have 2 3/4 inch chambers. The 16 gauge barrels are nowhere to be found. The bores and mechanics are excellent. The barrels and triggerguard have been reblued. The top lever is to the right. The frame hasn't been buffed and the engraving is still good. The screws are very nice and it has the original buttplate. Sling swivels had been installed and are now tastefully removed. The stock has been pinned at the neck and is solid in every way. The LOP IS 13 3/4 over the buttplate.  The gun weighs only 6lbs 4.6oz and points and handles beautifully. So with all that said, it's just an O frame 20 bore shooter, but a very nice one and ready for another lifetime of fun. P grade steel barreled 20's are not often encountered. You'll be pleased. Hit the Buy Now option and I'll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
