Description: This G. Gamba from Gardone V.T. Italy is in very good overall condition. Wood shows a few marks and dings but remains solid with fine checkering. White teardrops inletted on either side of wrist and brass shield on bottom of stock. Brass shield appears to have been added later. Sling swivels stud on bottom of stock shows some splintering around screw. Forend has several dings near silver release button. Beautifully engraved silver sideplates show ducks on either side. Barrels also show light use marks but retain nice original blue. Barrels are marked "Acciaio E.S.C. gia' Vickers & C.". In center of barrel rib "S. Remo B18". Classic Italian beauty!
