Beautiful 1970's vintage Winchester 101 Field Variation, 2-3/4" or 3" 20 gauge, 26-1/2" vent rib barrel, choked Modified/Improved cylinder, single trigger, original butt plate. This all original and unmolested 101 remains in excellent condition, retaining approximately 98% of its original blue finish. There is one tiny area of thinning on the lower tang that you have to look very hard to see. The rest of the gun shows virtually zero wear or bluining loss. The stock set is solid with no cracks, repairs, or major dings present. The stock and forend shows no finish loss, and just a few light handling marks on the stock, typical of a gun of its age. The bores are bright, and the action locks up very tight. This shotgun appears to have been used very little as the the lever sits well to the right. This classy little over & under would make an excellent lightweight dove or pheasant gun.
