This has the so called "pencil barrel" with no factory sights and Ruger scope rings to fit their receiver. This is also the pre-Mk. II model that has the popular tang safety. The caliber is .280 Remington. I bought this gun new in 1980. It has probably 60 to 80 rounds through it done while breaking in the barrel, zeroing the scope  (no scope is provided in the sale), and practicing. Certainly no more than 100 rounds have been through it. Very nice wood, at least 97% or better blueing. Original Ruger red rubber buttpad. Bright, sharp, clean bore. Perfect functioning. Original owner's manual included. I hunted with it for two seasons and it has been sitting in a closet for 38 years. Too old to hunt anymore so it’s time to pass this one on to another hunter.
