Bolt action rifle, hand checkered walnut pistol grip stock, original aluminum butt plate, leather sling with factory deluxe detachable swivels, metal work is in 95% condition, wood is in 95% condition, rifle is fitted with an American made Bausch & Lomb 2.5 scope and original Bausch & Lomb mounts, rare transition period gun with cloverleaf tang, exceptional example of a .300 H&H Model 70 Winchester obtained from the Carmichel collection, a better Model 70 of this era would be difficult to find, especially in this rare caliber.
