This a scarce 1941 Luger Rig, issued to the Nazi Police in 1941. It is marked E/L on the slide. Of the 18,000 or so police lugers made, this E/L variation only makes up about 6,000. The gun is all matching. It has a police seer safety. The slide has the Mauser banner and is dated 1941. The gun is in fantastic condition, retaining about 97-98% of its original bluing. The only sign of wear is very minor high-edge and muzzle wear. The bore is shiny with good rifling with just minor frosting in the grooves. Excellent Eagle 655-proofed grips. It comes with a scarce unmarked wartime magazine and a mismatched, E/L police issued magazine. It also comes with a rare 1942-dated, police-issued, pigskin holster in excellent condition.
