***PENDING SALE****This ES 340 B CUSTOM rifle was produced in Germany prior to WWII as a fine quality German training rifle. It features unique custom stock, nicely figured wood with wrap around skip line checkering on the fore end. The 26-1/2" Barrel receiver and trigger guard have been re-blued to a deep, rich finish. This rifle retains a factory butt plate with Mauser Banner. Sights have been removed, leaving dove tailed receiver for mounting a scope or red dot sight. The bolt handle has been modified to clear a scope and the safety has been disabled, also presumably to accommodate a scope. Two minor blemishes are shown in the pictures…one at the back of the receiver and one near the front of the fore end. This is truly an extraordinary rifle…Great for squirrels, a young shooter, or maybe an old guy that just likes quality. It’s rare to see these rifles customized, especially with this quality.
