Here's is a Great Opportunity to own a quality London Hammer Double Rifle by one of England's most respected Makers. It is a 450-400 NE 3 1/4" Jones Underlever (considered to be the strongest most reliable lock-up). This gun has 26" Barrels with one standing and two folding sight blades....they are free of pitting and retain 85% bluing (which I believe may have been redone decades ago.) Sharp lands and grooves. It is in largly original condition with the case colors gone dark. Engraving is good for a gun over 100 years old.....it was built in 1903. Stock is well figured with original finish,cheekpiece and LOP 14 1/2" to Silvers pad. There is an old repair to the wrist that appaers to be quite strong (Examined by Stock maker)Weight 9lbs 11oz . as a BONUS it comes with Dies Brass Bullets so you can shoot this Old Girl all you want !! BEST of All this gun is remarkably accurate. HOLY COW....It comes in its original Brass and Leather case with Makers Label and it is in very good condition for its age.....interior has been relined and it is a professional job. This was one of John "Pondoro" Taylor's favorite calibers for ALL types of Dangerous Game Including Elephants.
