Description:
William Ford was well known for making the highest quality Barrels for many of England Best known Makers but he also made his own high quality guns as well . This gun is a 2 barrel 16 gauge !! One set of barrels are seemlessly sleeved in England and are 25 3/4" bored cyl-rt imp cyl left. The other set are original 27" Mod-Rt Full-Left. This is a very reliable single trigger gun that is the perfect combination of chokes ! It weighs 5 lb 12 oz. It has the most beautiful Grape Vine engraving (as seen in photos) that is very sharp . Stock is highly figured and checkering is very good . It has an LOP of 14 1/4 to original Silvers Pad. Yes , I know that single trigger guns are not in vogue ( it would be far more expensivewith double triggers) but this one is exceptional and it's a 16 !! It comes resting in its original two barrel compact leather case whos exterior is in very good condition .
